Introductory Meeting for New Members in English

The New Members Committee organizes introductory meetings every first Sunday and every third Tuesday of the month. The meetings are meant for people who are thinking of becoming a member of De Hoop as a rower or a sailor. Every other month, the meeting will be in English.

The meeting starts at 8 p.m.

• Beginners will be assigned to a beginners course
• Experienced rowers can show their skills (sculling or sweep rowing) every first Sunday of the month. Please send an e-mail to nemaxe.[antispam].@karzvdehoop.nl, stating your rowing experience and in which boat you want to do your examination. (Coxless pairs only on request).
• Sailing at De Hoop. Provided that you have the appropriate sailing licence, your membership includes the right to sail in so-called polyvalken, located at Jachthaven Bon in Vinkeveen. Rowers without sailing experience can take sailing courses, theory lessons in February/March and practical lessons in Spring.
